Questions about Facilities

Bar & Social Area

The on-site bar and social area serves as a central meeting point where participants can relax, socialize, and unwind before and after fishing. It is designed to support both practical use and informal social interaction throughout the event.

The bar offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, soft drinks, and beverages. Availability may vary depending on the event schedule and time of day.

Yes. The social area includes a dart board and a pool/billiards table, allowing participants to enjoy music and activities while spending time with fellow anglers.

Yes. The bar and social area also functions as the breakfast location during the event, providing a comfortable and organized space to start the day before heading out to the water.

When there is sufficient interest from participants, informal evening gatherings may take place. These moments are relaxed and optional, offering a pleasant way to end the day in a social setting.

Camping & VIP Spots​

Participants can choose between standard tent camping, camper or caravan spots, VIP camping spots around the lake, and a limited number of VIP fishing cabins. Each option is designed to support multi-day fishing during the event, with easy access to facilities and the water.

  1. Standard tent camping costs €35 per person for the entire event including breakfast on match days.
  2. Camping with a camper or caravan costs an aditional €15 for the entire event, on top of the cost of the camping.

VIP camping spots offer private space, electricity, and additional facilities near the lake. A VIP spot costs €200 per spot, added to the standard €35 per person camping fee.

For example, a VIP spot booked by 5 anglers costs €200 + 5 × €35 in total.

Between and after the 5 Bellyfiction sessions, you are
allowed to fish from you private VIP Spot with maximum 3 Rods per Person. Boats can only be
used to bring out the Bait or Rods or to drill big Fish. It is not allowed to fish from the Boat.

The VIP fishing lodge offers the same privacy and facilities as a VIP camping spot but includes a high-quality lodge accommodation. The cost is €500 per lodge, plus €35 per person per day during the event, making it the most exclusive on-site option.

VIP Parking costs Euro 25,00 and for this you will get your own private parking space inside the
Fishing Adventure area. Also your mobile number will be added to the electric gate, so you can
open the gate by yourself when you arrive or want to leave the area. Free parking is available on
the meadow opposite the Fishing Adventure Area.

Between and after the 5 Bellyfiction sessions, you are
allowed to fish from you private VIP Spot with maximum 3 Rods per Person. Boats can only be
used to bring out the Bait or Rods or to drill big Fish. It is not allowed to fish from the Boat.

Electricity & Charging Points​

Yes. Electricity is available across the camping area for all participants and is included as part of the event facilities. This allows anglers to charge phones, batteries, lights, and essential fishing equipment throughout their stay.

Yes. All VIP fishing spots are equipped with dedicated electricity, providing convenient and direct access for charging equipment and powering essential devices near your fishing location.

Electricity is intended for normal, event-related use such as charging phones, power banks, batteries, headlamps, Small Heater, Small refrigerator and fishing accessories. It is designed to support comfort and preparation, not high-consumption appliances.

Yes. To ensure fair access for everyone, high-consumption devices such as heavy electric heaters, air conditioners, heavy cooking equipment, or similar appliances are limited permitted. Excessive power usage may be restricted by the organization if it affects other participants.

If over-usage is detected, the Fishing Adventure team may intervene to prevent disruption to the power supply. This can include limiting access, requesting devices to be disconnected, or adjusting usage to ensure a stable and fair setup for all participants.

Food & Refreshments

Breakfast is included for all participants that have booked a camping spot. For participants who
stay overnight outside the Fishing Adventure Area breakfast is available for Euro 9,50 per person. 

Breakfast offers a practical and well-balanced selection that changes slightly per day. Participants can expect fresh bread and buns, spreads, scrambled eggs, cereals such as cornflakes, coffee, tea, fruit juices, and additional items depending on availability. The setup is organized for efficiency while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere inside the Fishing Adventure facilities. Live cooking of scrambled and sunshine up eggs.

Yes. In addition to the included breakfast, participants can order lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks from the Fishing Adventure Food Menu throughout the event. This allows anglers to eat flexibly during the day and evening, whether they prefer a quick meal between sessions or a more relaxed dinner after fishing.

Yes. Participants are free to bring their own food and drinks if they prefer to manage their meals independently. This option provides additional flexibility for dietary preferences, personal schedules, or longer fishing sessions, alongside the on-site food and beverage offerings.

Yes. Barbecuing is allowed during the event if participants bring their own barbecue equipment. Guests are asked to use barbecues responsibly, follow basic safety guidelines, and keep shared areas clean so everyone can enjoy a safe and comfortable event environment.

Pets Allowed​

Yes. Well-behaved domestic pets such as dogs and cats are allowed at Fishing Adventure during events, including Bellyfiction, provided they are supervised and handled responsibly by their owners.

Yes. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while on the terrain. Free roaming is not allowed in order to maintain safety, protect fishing areas, and ensure comfort for all participants.

Pets should be calm, social, and non-disruptive. Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or disturbance of other guests, fish, or facilities may result in the owner being asked to remove the pet from the event area.

Pet owners are fully responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring the surrounding area remains clean and hygienic throughout the event.

Pets are allowed in outdoor areas but should be kept away from sensitive zones such as food preparation areas, sanitary facilities, and crowded indoor spaces unless explicitly permitted.

Rentable Golf Carts

Everyboday starting from the age of 16 is allowed to drive a golfcart, provided they are
sober. It is strictly forbidden to drive a golfcart after using Alcohol, Drugs, etc.

If a golf cart runs out of power, it can either be connected to a charging point or exchanged for another available cart, depending on availability at that moment.

Golf carts may be used for both personal transport and moving fishing gear or supplies between camping areas, fishing spots, and facilities, as long as they are used responsibly.

Always remove the key from the golfcart when it is not being used. This prevents from the
golfcart being taken by someone else than the renter. In case of damage the renter is always
responsible and always will be the person that has to pay for the damage, also if someone else
was driving the golfcart at the moment that the damage occurred.

Yes. Golf carts must be driven carefully, at low speed, and only on designated paths. Respect for other participants and the environment is required at all times.

Sanitary Facilities

Yes. Fishing Adventure provides multiple on-site toilets and showers for all participants, ensuring comfort throughout the entire event.

Yes. All toilets and showers are available 24 hours a day, allowing participants to use them at any time, day or night.

Yes. All on-site showers are equipped with hot water, making it easy to freshen up after long fishing sessions or during multi-day stays.

The sanitary facilities are cleaned frequently and maintained according to clear hygiene standards to ensure a clean and pleasant experience at all times.

Yes. Toilets and showers are conveniently located and easily accessible from the camping areas, and main event facilities.

Questions about Fish Types

Only catch and release fishing is allowed at Fishing Adventure. Every fish that is being caught must be released in the water again. Taking a picture of the fish is allowed

Asp

Yes, asp are a valid and respected target species during events such as Bellyfiction, as long as all event rules and fish-handling guidelines are followed.

Asp are extremely alert, fast, and selective. They often require precise casting, fast lure retrieval, and good observation of surface activity to successfully trigger strikes.

Surface lures, fast-moving hard baits, and slim soft plastics are commonly effective. Success often depends on timing, light conditions, and reading fish behavior rather than fixed spots.

Yes, black bass are an allowed target species during Bellyfiction, provided all event rules and catch-and-release guidelines are followed.

Black bass respond well to soft plastics, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures, depending on conditions. Fishing near structure and cover is often key to success.

Absolutely. Despite not being the heaviest species, black bass are extremely powerful for their size and are known for explosive strikes and aggressive resistance once hooked.

Yes. Black bass should be unhooked carefully, supported properly, and released quickly to minimize stress and ensure healthy recovery.

Black bass are spread across the lake but are most commonly found near vegetation, submerged structures, and transitional depth zones where they actively hunt.

Catfish

Yes. The lake is home to exceptionally large catfish, including individuals well beyond 2.5 meters. These fish are among the largest freshwater specimens anglers can realistically encounter in a managed fishing environment.

Fishing Adventure hosts a variety of organised fishing events, including international competitions like Bellyfiction, multi-day Big Fish and Carp Couple tournaments, and youth-focused events such as the KidsCup Tournament.

Yes. Our events are designed for a wide range of anglers from experienced competitors to recreational and youth anglers. Each event has clear rules, guidance, and supervision to ensure fair and enjoyable participation.

The Kidscup is a 1 day event organized for children between the age of 5 to
16. There are 4 kids cups organized per year. During the Bellyfiction Event on Saturday 23 and Sunday
24 May 2 Kidscup events are being held, starting at 9.00 until 12.30.

Fish welfare is a top priority. All events follow strict fish-care guidelines, including proper handling, measuring procedures, and immediate release. Our staff and judges actively monitor compliance throughout the event.
