Every Tokuryo Line Lab line is treated with the Special Fiber Waterproofing Process, applied directly to the individual fibers before braiding. This ensures the line is fully waterproof from the inside out, prevents water absorption, eliminates internal degradation, and guarantees long-term performance without swelling or weight gain.
Tokuryo also applies the C / AC Twist Method, a targeted thermal treatment during the braiding process that molecularly strengthens the fibers. This results in increased tear resistance, higher knot strength, and greater resistance to sudden loads and high tensile stress.
The final step is the Si Coating Surface Treatment, which creates an exceptionally smooth surface. This reduces friction, improves casting distance, and increases casting precision, delivering consistent and controlled line behavior in all fishing situations.
